Fueling the Future: Internship

Microsoft Research is committed to investing in the future of computer science research through its Internship program as illustrated through the story of Pushmeet Kohli.

Pushmeet Kohli is now a recognized researcher working with leading researchers in machine learning in the Microsoft Research Cambridge Lab and yet for the first 17 years of his life he never travelled beyond a small region in northern India. This story is about how his Microsoft Research internship provided support and mentoring, helping him to get to where he is today. The video also demonstrates Pushmeet’s humble nature and innate ability to take advantage of all the advice and opportunities that came his way.
