AI as a Living Medium

Throughout history, new media have expanded what people can express, create, and understand. Writing enabled the externalization of thought, drawing enabled visual reasoning, and programming enabled the creation of computational processes. AI introduces a new possibility: a medium that is generative, malleable, and alive.
