Qingwei Lin （林庆维） is a Partner Research Manager of STCA Research at Microsoft. He is leading a team of researchers working on AI, Agents, LLMs, RL, AIOps, AI4SE, and RSI. Qingwei has over 100 publications at top-tier conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, EMNLP, ACL, ICSE, FSE, OSDI, NSDI, KDD, etc., and got Best Research Paper Award at ISSRE, SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award at ESEC/FSE, and Retrospective Most Influential Industry Paper Award at ICSE SEIP. The research technologies have been transferred into multiple Microsoft products, such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft365, Windows, Office, Bing, GitHub Copilot, etc., and made substantial improvements. Qingwei hosted Microsoft company-wide “Cloud Service Intelligence Summit” as the Chair for 5 consecutive years. He joined Microsoft Research in 2006.
