Qingwei Lin （林庆维） is a Partner Research Manager in the DKI research area. He is leading a team of researchers working on Cloud Intelligence and AIOps, with innovations in Software, Cloud systems, AI, Agents, and LLMs. Qingwei has over 100 publications at top-tier conferences such as ICSE, FSE, OSDI, NSDI, KDD, NeurIPS, etc., and got Best Research Paper Award at ISSRE, SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award at ESEC/FSE, and Retrospective Most Influential Industry Paper Award at ICSE SEIP. The research technologies have been transferred into multiple Microsoft products, such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft365, Windows, Bing, etc, and made substantial improvements. Qingwei hosted Microsoft company-wide “Cloud Service Intelligence Summit” as the Chair for 5 consecutive years. He joined Microsoft Research in 2006.
