About

I work on applying AI to solve problems in the fields of sustainability, energy and health care. My research interests lie at the intersection of science and AI, including materials informatics, physics-informed machine learning, and biomedical AI. I am very excited about the opportunities provided by AI to accelerate science and engineering.

Prior to joining Microsoft, I completed my PhD at MIT under the guidance of Prof. Tonio Buonassisi (opens in new tab) (MIT MechE) and Dr. John Fisher (opens in new tab) (MIT CSAIL) on AI for accelerated materials discovery. In a past life, I briefly worked in the energy industry and completed an internship on particle detector design at CERN.
