Idle AX 2012 R3 client causing CPU load > 90 %

If you should face situations where a MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3 client  (kernel build 6.3.164.0) installed on Windows Server 2012 R2 (RDS host role enabled) consumes constantly > 90 % CPU load although being idle then please be aware that there is a fix for it:

The MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3 hotifx (kernel HF only) KB 3010993 was tested successfully to prevent such a high CPU load.

Note: The download link will soon be published on Lifecycle Services (https://lcs.dynamics.com) Until then you may request that hotfix via a free of charge support case at MS, of course.
