Aarti Borkar leads strategy and technical execution to ensure that our customers are more secure and fully utilize the value of our products across Security, compliance, identity and management. Aarti also leads Microsoft’s Detection and Response team (DART), which provides holistic security incident response leadership and investigation for its customers, and helps customers become cyber-resilient.
A data geek, Aarti has used analytics and AI to solve complex business problems for over two decades. She has led strategy, product direction, and execution of Security software and services across threat management, fraud, identity, data security, and mobile. Aarti is also passionate about supporting women in tech and leadership.
Aarti holds master’s in computer science from the University of Southern California and a master’s in tech commercialization from the University of Texas at Austin. She was born and raised in India and currently lives in California with her German husband. Together, they have lived and worked across California, Germany, and in New York over the years.
