We created Asthma e-Lab, a secureweb-based research environmentto support consistent recording, description and sharing of data, computational\/statistical methods and emerging \ufb01ndings acrossthe \ufb01ve UK birth cohorts. The eLab serves as a datarepository forour uni\ufb01ed dataset and providesthe computational resources and a scienti\ufb01c social network to support collaborative research.
