In this technical demonstration, we showcase theMindFinder
\nsystem \u2212 a novel image search engine. Different from ex-
\nisting interactive image search engines, most of which only
\nprovide image-level relevance feedback, MindFinder enables
\nusers to sketch and tag query images at object level. By con-
\nsidering the image database as a huge repository, MindFinder
\nis able to help users present and refine their initial thoughts
\nin their mind, and finally turn thoughts to a beautiful im-
\nage(s). Multiple actions are enabled for users to flexibly de-
\nsign their queries in a bilateral interactive manner by lever-
\naging the whole image database, including tagging, refining
\nquery by dragging and dropping objects from search results,
\nas well as editing objects. After each action, the search re-
\nsults will be updated in real time to provide users up-to-date
\nmaterials to further formulate the query. By the deliberate
\nbut easy design of the query, MindFinder not only tries to
\nenable users to present on the query panel whatever they
\nare imagining, but also returns to users the most similar
\nimages to the picture in users\u2019 mind. By scaling up the im-
\nage database to 10 million, MindFinder has the potential
\nto reveal whatever in users\u2019 mind, that is where the name
