Researchers associated with this work include <a href=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/research\/people\/jopal\/\">Joyojeet Pal<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/research\/people\/monojitc\/academic-and-educational-engagements\/\">Monojit Choudhury<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/research\/people\/kalikab\/\">Kalika Bali<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/research\/people\/amshar\/\">Amit Sharma<\/a> and several talented research fellows and interns.<\/p>\n<p>Our recent work has included research into <a href=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/research\/publication\/misinformation-as-a-window-into-prejudice-covid-19-and-the-information-environment-in-india\/\">misinformation<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/research\/publication\/watched-but-moving-platformization-of-beauty-work-and-its-gendered-mechanisms-of-control\/\">gig economy<\/a> in India, <a href=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/research\/publication\/digital-divine-technology-use-by-indian-spiritual-sects\/\">online aspects of spiritual practices<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/research\/publication\/when-the-king-turns-jester-a-carnivalesque-analysis-of-police-outreach-on-social-media-in-kerala\/\">memes in public life<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/research\/publication\/affording-extremes-incivility-social-media-and-democracy-in-the-indian-context\/\">polarization<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/research\/publication\/topical-focus-of-political-campaigns-and-its-impact-findings-from-politicians-hashtag-use-during-the-2019-indian-elections\/\">political speech on social media<\/a>.
