Nancy Baym on winning the Frederick Williams Prize for Contributions to the Study of Communication Technology

Nancy Baym, principal research at Microsoft Research New England, was unable to attend the 2019 International Communications Association (ICA), where she was awarded the Frederick Williams Prize for Contributions to the Study of Communication Technology by the Communication and Technology Division of ICA, but she recorded a short video to show her thanks for the award and shares her thoughts about the state of communication technology research today.
