Microsoft Power Automate is striving to provide customers with a single intelligent automation service for coders and non-coders alike. We have rapidly added capabilities and features based on customer requests and the evaluation of the market.<\/p>\n

A pivotal moment for Power Automate was the launch of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) at Ignite<\/a> in 2019. We believe, this led to Power Automate landing as a \u2018Visionary\u2019 in Gartner Magic Quadrant<\/a> for RPA in 2020, which was an incredible start for our entry into the RPA market.<\/p>\n

We have continued to make significant investments in RPA capabilities with the acquisition of Softomotive<\/a> in 2020, which resulted in the general availability of Power Automate Desktop<\/a>. This evolution continued as we added the powerful process advisor capability<\/a>, and offered Power Automate Desktop for Windows 10 at no additional cost<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Today, we are pleased to announce that these investments have led to an important milestone; Microsoft has been named a Leader<\/a> in the 2021 Gartner Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Magic Quadrant. Gartner recognized several of Power Automate\u2019s strengths.<\/p>\n
