Hello Flow Fans!<\/p>\n

Happy Valentine’s Day! I am here today with a quick and easy blog post to teach you how to use Flow to take your Valentine’s Day note sending to an automated level!<\/p>\n

I was thinking, “do I really want to go through the hassle of buying cards, filling them out, licking a bunch of envelopes and then hunting down my targeted valentine receivers?!” Not really!<\/p>\n

And so this year, I am going to build myself the “Flow Button Valentine Generator 3000” – The ultimate valentine sharing machine.<\/p>\n

Ok, maybe its an exaggeration, but you get the idea.<\/p>\n

Lets go to Flow!<\/p>\n

Head on over to the Flow portal<\/a> and sign in. Click on My Flows<\/strong> and then + Create from blank<\/strong><\/p>\n

For your Trigger Search for Button <\/strong>and choose Flow button for mobile – Manually trigger a flow<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now inside of the button trigger, click on + Add an input\u00a0<\/strong>\u200band choose Email <\/strong>then add another input and choose text\u00a0<\/b>\u200b then for the decription add Your Name<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Now add an action and search Send an email.\u00a0<\/strong>I am going to use the Office 365 Outlook – Send an email<\/strong> action<\/p>\n

Then in the *To:<\/strong> field, use you dynamic content to select the Email<\/strong> content item from the button press in our above step. Open the advanced options<\/strong> and where it says is HTML<\/strong> – choose yes\u00a0<\/strong>\u200band set importance to Normal<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Now, in the body section, lets write a very personal note… That we will then send to everyone we know.<\/p>\n

Notice, I am using some HTML code in here to make things better looking. I am also going to put in a picture code so that my E-card isnt just all text!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Ok, lets now Lets name it Valentine Flow <\/strong>and then Save the Flow <\/strong>and then click Done.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now go to My Flows<\/strong> and then click on our new Valentine Flow\u00a0<\/strong>\u200band click …More\u200b\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong>\u200band then Run Now<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u200b<\/strong>\u200bA dialogue box will appear, asking for the email <\/strong>of the recipients of your valentine, as well as your name<\/strong>. Give those two items and click Run Flow<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u200bThe flow will run, it will fill in the necessary spots with Dynamic Content and BOOM! Your recipients will get an email that looks just like this!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

And just like that, we generate a VERY personal message than we can then quickly and efficiently send out to our network of friends and people we appreciate!<\/p>\n
