The goal is that if you&#8217;re running late to a meeting you can, with a couple taps, notify all of the attendees that you&#8217;ll be joining soon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/flow.microsoft.com\/galleries\/public\/templates\/7a760a57d5fc46ef93556f911a1d2f0b\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/power-platform\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/fotw-notify-running-late-template.png\" style=\"height: 312px; width: 408px;\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This flow starts out with a <b>button<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; that means that you can trigger it from your phone in the Flow app, and from the <a href=\"https:\/\/home.dynamics.com\">Dynamics 365 home portal<\/a>. When you click on the button, the flow will get the upcoming events in the next hour. You will then get an Approval notification sent to your phone like this:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/power-platform\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/fotw-notify-running-late-mobile.png\" style=\"width: 408px; height: 566px;\"\/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You can then select <b>Approve<\/b>\u00a0to send an email to the people on the list, otherwise, select\u00a0<strong>Reject<\/strong>. When you select\u00a0<strong>Approve<\/strong>, you have an option to also customize the email that is sent to your co-workers by selecting\u00a0<strong>Add comment<\/strong>. Finally, an email like the following will be sent:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cm-edgetun.pages.dev\/en-us\/power-platform\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/fotw-notify-running-late-email.png\" style=\"width: 347px; height: 254px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>To use this flow <a href=\"https:\/\/flow.microsoft.com\/galleries\/public\/templates\/7a760a57d5fc46ef93556f911a1d2f0b\/\">go to this template<\/a>, create accounts if needed, and then click\u00a0<strong>Continue.<\/strong>\u00a0You don&#8217;t need to change anything in the template &#8211; it&#8217;s all set up for you, just\u00a0<strong>Create flow.<\/strong>\u00a0One of the bonuses of this flow is you can share this flow with other people on your team and they take get the advantage of the button from their phones too!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you&#8217;re going to be late to a meeting, tap this button flow.
