  • The Teams Shared Space license (formerly the Teams Shared Device license) is not required for end-user Places experiences, but it enables organizations to manage shared workplace assets such as desks, rooms, Teams panels, common area phones, and hotdesking devices. A single license can manage up to four desks and allows IT admins to control which shared workspaces employees can book and use. It also provides capabilities like desk booking, reservation policies, and space analytics to help organizations manage and optimize workspace usage.
