September 9, 2026
Today we are announcing a pricing update for Power Apps Premium, the first list price increase for the product in more than five years. Effective January 1, 2027, both Premium plans will increase by $2 USD per user, per month¹. This pricing update reflects Microsoft's ongoing investment in the AI-augmented low-code application development platform, including capabilities, enhancements, and innovation introduced since the last price change.

Effective January 1, 2027, Power Apps Premium list prices will update as follows. Prices shown are per user, per month, based on annual billing.

In accordance with applicable regulations, U.S. Government list price increases are capped at 10% annually. Where the full increase exceeds that cap, it will be phased over two years.
Only the two plans listed above are affected. All other Power Apps and Power Platform products remain at their current prices, and no capabilities or entitlements are being removed from Power Apps Premium.
Why are we making this change
Since the last Power Apps price change, we have added capabilities across the following areas:
- AI in apps, Copilot integration, and code apps. Power Apps Premium includes in-app AI capabilities, including app skills that can be used for data entry, data exploration, visualization, and summarization. It also supports the integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot and agents into business applications, and supports professional developer scenarios through code apps, with administration of low code and code first applications.
- Data, security, and resilience. Dataverse capabilities include additional storage capacity, Customer Managed Keys, Customer Lockbox, high availability across Azure availability zones, and self-service cross-region disaster recovery, subject to applicable service documentation and terms.
- Governance, ALM, and monitoring. Governance and administration capabilities include Managed Environments, environment groups and rules, built-in pipelines, source control integration, solution checker enforcement, and centralized monitoring with health metrics, logs, and recommendations. These capabilities help organizations apply consistent policies, manage deployments, surface operational issues, and administer Power Apps.
What this means for customers
Existing subscriptions will retain their current price through the end of their subscription term. The new list price applies to new purchases, renewals, and co-terminations with a term beginning on or after January 1, 2027.
