Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Distributed Scan Management Active Directory Schema update

This download contains Active Directory schema updates to enable Distributed Scan Management in a Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 environment. It enables creation of scan process objects within active directory to support Windows Server 2008 R2 Distributed Scan Servers in a Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 environment.

Supported Operating Systems

Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2 (32-Bit x86), Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 editions, Windows Server 2003 x64 editions, Windows Server 2008

Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2 and Windows Server 2008 Operating system. (Both x64 and x86)

1. Make sure you are member of "schema admin" or "enterprise admin"
2. Download the ZIP file by clicking on the Download button above.
3. Extract the ldf file module to a folder on your local machine.
4. Open a command prompt.
5. Import the file using the following command line (replace “DomainName” with your fully qualitified domain path)
   • ldifde /i /v /f DistributedScanManagement.ldf /c DC=X "DC=DomainName,DC=com"
