    In System Center Service Manager 2016 TP5, if the customer uses System Center Operations Manager(OM) CI connector connected to System Center Operations Manager 2016 TP5, then

    (i)newly created OM CI connectors will not sync properly (OM CI connectors existing from before upgrade would work fine).

    And, (ii) newly created Distributed Applications/Business Service with Operations Manager will not be imported into Service Manager (Distributed Applications/Business Service existing from before upgrade would stay unaffected).

    1. Download and extract "Workaround for SM 2016 TP5 OM CI connector issues.msi".
    2. Open Service Manager console and go to Administration -> ManagementPack
    3. Click on Import, select ".mp" type files and import the following management packs -
      • System.Health.Library.mp
      • System.Snmp.Library.mp
      • System.Performance.Library.mp
      • System.ApplicationLog.Library.mp
    4. Click on Import, select ".mpb" type files and import the following management pack -
      • Microsoft.SystemCenter.Library.mpb
    5. Click on Import, select ".mp" type files and import the following management packs -
      • Microsoft.SystemCenter.Internal.mp
      • Microsoft.SystemCenter.ServiceDesigner.Library.mp
      • Microsoft.SystemCenter.WorkflowFoundation.Library.mp
      • Microsoft.Windows.Cluster.Library.mp
      • System.BaseliningTasks.Library.mp
      • System.Hardware.Library.mp
      • System.Health.Internal.mp
      • System.Mom.BackwardCompatibility.Library.mp
      • System.Virtualization.Library.mp
