Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (KB2890573)

This release includes an update to Visual Studio 2010 SP1 that lets Coded UI tests and action recordings in Microsoft Test Manager to run successfully on machines that have Internet Explorer 9 or Internet Explorer 10 with KB 2870699 installed.

    Two issues in Coded UI Tests and action recordings in Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) are resolved with this update. If the machine has KB 2870699 installed, recording Coded UI tests or action recordings in MTM fail with "The following element is no longer available: IE web control, Process Id [xxxx], window handle [yyyy]". Second, when previously authored tests or action recordings are played back, you may see FailedToPerformActionOnHiddenControlException.
