Minimum Hardware Requirements The following hardware is suggested for an installation of Microsoft Password Change Notification Service:- Server with 1 GHz (for x86 processors) or 1.4 GHz (for x64 processors).
- 512 MB of RAM or higher recommended.
- Click the file you want to download from the list below.
- Save the file to a local drive.
- Extract the files to the domain controller(s) on which you want to install PCNS.
- Follow the installation instructions in the PCNS Step-by-Step Guide.
- The Password Change Notification filter and service components must be installed on all Domain Controllers in a domain that is synchronizing with the configured targets. If the Password Change Notification Service is not installed and running on a domain controller, then any password changes that originate on that domain controller will not be synchronized.
